OUR PROCESS
Curb Creations LLC extrudes a one piece, continuous installation of
curbing
or borders by using special curbing equipment that provides the
flexibility
of other materials but with the durability of concrete.
As in all successful projects, the preparation is the key. After the
site is
designed, we use a sod cutting machine to cut existing sod 10” wide
to allow
easy disposal. The area is tamped down and if necessary, a light
application
of sand is applied to level the area.
The concrete is then mixed with the color you have chosen and loaded
into
our special curbing equipment. This color is throughout the
concrete--NOT
just on top of the curbing. We install 1/8” cable through the center
of ALL
of our curbing. This is done to increase the strength of the curb.
